The NSW Small Business Commissioner is collecting data about the impacts of bushfires on small businesses across NSW. This will help inform the recovery response. If the fires have impacted your business, please click here to complete the survey.
Below we have included several links for both small businesses and farmers with regards to grants and funding that are readily available if you are located in a disaster-declared local government area.

Helpful links for NSW businesses and people affected by the recent fires
Disaster Recovery Allowance – Support for people who can show they lost income as a direct result of the bushfires in New South Wales in August 2019 through to January 2020 (conditions apply)
Australian Government Disaster Recovery Payment – If eligible you can get $1000 per adult and $400 per child younger than 16.
Disaster Relief Loans – Small businesses and primary producers who have been directly affected by the fires, may be eligible for low interest loans of up to $130,000.
The ATO has identified impacted postcodes and automatically granted deferrals for lodgements and payments due. If a business has been affected by this disaster and needs assistance, or the business is affected but is outside the listed postcodes, they can call the ATO Emergency Support Infoline on 1800 806 218.

Commercial Refrigerator Rebates – Eligible small businesses can get a NSW government rebate for new plug-in commercial fridges and freezers.
Red Cross – emergency grants if you have lost your primary place of residence.
